Synthetic demonstration

Synthetic demonstration. No real person, community, place, testimony, or consent is represented. Fields show how a record is structured, not what any record contains.

An account given by one person, recorded by another, and governed by a third

SourceWho shared it?

The person or community a memory comes from, identified as they choose. A source is never replaced by whoever recorded it.

Synthetic contributor P-01

Gave the account. Decides on their own participation, voice, and likeness.

AuthorityWho decides?

Cultural authority is recorded separately from whoever collected, contributed, or signed. Where it is shared, disputed, or unknown, the record says so.

Contributor

Signer
An authorized representative of Synthetic collective A-01 Identity withheldSigns for A-01 within a verified mandate. Holds no authority of their own. Identity and mandate are restricted.
Collector
Synthetic collector C-01 AttestedFacilitated and made the recording. Holds no authority over the account or the people in it.
Legal rights holder
Synthetic institution I-01 AttestedHolds copyright in the audio recording made by C-01. Has no cultural authority over the account.
Subject

How the collective exercises its authority

A representative holds no authority by being a signer. They may carry out the collective's decisions only within a verified mandate: for named uses, of this record, for a set period. A signature outside the mandate has no effect.

The representative's identity and the mandate itself are restricted, and never published.

Collector, Contributor, Subject, Source authority, Legal rights holder, Signer are separate capacities. One person may hold several only with supporting evidence.

Terms of careWhat may be done with it?

Consent is given use by use. Preservation does not imply publication, and permission for one use does not imply permission for another.
